In recent years, microphysiological systems such as organoids and organ-on-chip have found wide-ranging applications in the fields of disease research, drug development, and precision medicine, making them pivotal and sought-after technologies in numerous countries. Jointly sponsored by Southeast University, Jiangsu Province Hospital and Columbia University, and organized by State Key Laboratory of Digital Medical Engineering, Institute of Microphysiological Systems and Institute of Medical Devices (Suzhou), Southeast University, the “2025 International Symposium on Microphysiological Systems (MPS 2025) and the 8th Academic Conference on Organoid and Organs-on-Chip” is scheduled to take place in Nanjing, China from Oct 17th to 19th, 2025.
The conference aims to explore the latest research trends in microphysiological systems, including organs-on-chip, organoids, biomedical big data, and showcase the most recent research achievements. It provides a platform for academic, industry, and research collaboration in the field of microphysiological systems. Together, we aspire to advance microphysiological systems research and industrial development in China to new horizons!
The conference will feature multiple sessions, including keynote & plenary speeches, oral reports, flash talks, and poster presentations, with awards such as "Best Paper," "Outstanding Presentation," and "Best Poster" to be presented.
We cordially invite scientific researchers and industry professionals from universities, research institutes, and enterprises to actively submit their work and participate in this premier academic event in the field of microphysiological systems!

Conference Format
lKeynote & Plenary Speeches
Distinguished experts in the field of microphysiological systems from both China and abroad will be invited to deliver featured presentations.
lOral Reports
Priority will be given to first authors of submitted papers. Presenters should prepare English PowerPoint slides in 16:9 format, with content covering research objectives, methodology, findings, and significance. While presentations may be delivered in either English or Chinese, English is strongly encouraged. All speakers must check the conference website for schedule updates and arrive at least half a day before their session to ensure proper slide preparation.
The Academic Committee will evaluate these presentations and confer "Outstanding Oral Report" awards.
lFlash Talks
The flash talk session follows similar requirements, with English PPT slides in 16:9 format and preference given to English delivery. These concise presentations will also be judged for "Outstanding Flash Talk" awards.
lPoster Presentations
Participants must prepare their own posters in English, meeting the specified dimensions (120cm height × 90cm width), with one poster permitted per paper. All posters must be displayed before 08:00 on October 18 in designated areas, as outlined in the conference handbook. Presenters are responsible for removing their posters after the session, as unclaimed materials will be discarded.
